Delight your taste buds with this delicious recipe proposed by chef Marion.

Ingredients (for 8 people):

  • 4 eggs
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 untreated lemon (zest + juice)
  • 80 gr of T45 flour
  • 175 gr of powdered almonds
  • 50 gr of walnuts
  • 1 tsp ground coffee cinnamon powder
  • 1 rounded tsp of yeast
  • 275 gr of carrots (peeled and grated weight)
  • A few drops of WAKE UP Oil

Preparation steps:

  • Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until they whiten and the mixture becomes foamy. Add a pipette of REVEIL , Huages ​​CBD hazelnut oil.
  • Add the zest, then the flour, salt, yeast, almond powder, cinnamon, finely grated carrots, and finally the lemon juice
  • Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate them into the previous preparation.
  • Line the mold with baking paper and pour the mixture into it.
  • Place in the oven and cook at 180°C for 50 minutes to 1 hour (less if you use two small molds).
  • When the cake is cooked, turn it out onto a rack and let it cool.
  • For the icing:
    • 50g very soft butter (not melted)
    • 175 g of icing sugar
    • 100g of Philadelphia
  • Beat the very soft butter with the icing sugar. Once the mixture is homogeneous, add 100g of Philadelphia.
  • Mix quickly with a whisk without beating too much so as not to make the mixture excessively liquid.
  • Leave to set in the fridge for 12 hours before spreading on the cake.
