Facial yoga: what is it?

Step 1: prepare your face
- Wash your face to remove any dirt, makeup or skincare products.
- Use a moisturizer or light oil (like aCBD oilfor example) to allow your fingers to glide smoothly across your skin.
- Find a quiet place where you can sit or lie down comfortably.
Step 2: facial yoga exercises
- Forehead movements: raise your eyebrows as high as possible while keeping your eyes open, then gently lower them. Repeat several times.
- Cheek movements: inflate your cheeks with air, then release them. Repeat several times.
- Lip movements: push your lips forward as if for a kiss, then release them. Repeat several times.
- Jaw movements: open and close your jaw several times.
- Neck movements: gently turn your head from left to right, then up and down.
- To reduce forehead wrinkles: place your fingers on the forehead, just above the eyebrows, and make circular movements outwards.
- To strengthen the neck muscles: tilt your head back and stretch the skin of the neck with your mouth closed.
During your facial yoga practice, it is essential to adopt deep breathing. Take slow breaths and blow over time to reinforce the feeling of calm and relaxation.
